Last week, active and retired members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, both sworn and professional staff came together to compete in the 2026 United States Police & Fire Championships.

Through months of hard work, discipline, and dedication, our Department brought home more than 45 medals, with results still being finalized. From track and field to rowing, powerlifting, and numerous other events, our athletes proudly represented LASD on the national stage.

While the medals are certainly an accomplishment, the true victory lies in the commitment, perseverance, and teamwork displayed by every competitor. It was an honor to represent the Department and showcase the passion and dedication that each athlete invests in their respective sport.

Congratulations to all who competed and represented LASD with pride. Your hard work continues to inspire us both on and off the field of competition. 🏅💪
